Hi Susan and crew. Wonder if you have any suggestions for people having trouble viewing the site in IE 6? Nothing shows up on the page and I get an error in the corner. Click the error icon and the error reads:

Line: 10
Char: 1
Error: Object Expected
Code: 0
URL: http://dropshots.com/[myuserid]

I have a relative experiencing the same problem when they try to view my page. It works fine in Firefox. Is it possible one of my images is corrupt somehow and causing it not to display?

Thanks!

[From Susan - Customer Support]
We suggest upgrading to IE 7, the latest version, which you can download from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx

And be sure to have Java Script enabled. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Reset default settings.

Are you still working there? I'm wondering if the Search function will ever be restored. I've emailed twice about it this year, but I'm still waiting.

I have a dropshots account and want to upgrade. Does anyone know if its possible to change the name when I upgrade or do I have to re-upload all the pics under the new name? Can my BF and I combine our two accounts?
Help!

****************

[From Susan - Customer Support]
Yes, you can change your user name at any time. Simply log in to your account, click on Settings at the top right corner of your screen, click on the User Settings tab, enter a new user name in the Username field, and click on Save.

Unfortunately, 2 separate accounts cannot be combined into one.

When will the "search" feature be back up and running? It's been down for almost a year now.

Yay!!!
Thanks a ton for the new DropBox for Mac (v1.10). Finally a version that doesn't stall on Resizing and requires a restart after uploading only one picture at a time. Just ran through 17 images without a problem.
Will give video a try next.

Would really like the option of viewing "By Date" from most recent picture taken (like the option we had briefly a while back). For example, when I click on 2008, I'd like to see the most recent pictures I've uploaded, not the ones from January. At least give us this option. This seems easy enough to accomodate. C'mon guys. It's a royal pain to click on every day to see the pictures you can't see from the main page. It's so much nicer to view everything on one page. You keep saying, we are working on it, but there hasn't been a new blog update since December 2007.

One thing I loved about dropshots when I signed up for Star Membership is the "NO Ads-- ever!" claim. But now I feel like I'm getting these Kodak ads above my comments on a regular basis. Can you please remove those?

Those are not ads, but rather, our way of communicating a service that's available to our customers. We just want our customers to know what we're providing for your convenience.

Have ya'll thought about including the comments and captions on the backup DVDs and CDs? The comments made on the videos and photos could easily become treasured memories over time. Please consider this for a future option. Thanks so much!

Hello, I noticed you provide backup DVDs and CDs for photos. Do you do that for videos as well? I love sharing my videos with my family members!
