Hi! I read the blog and I'm having the same issue as someone else there. I can not get photos to drag and drop to an album. I read the response and I click on the date but I still don't see all the photos from that day at once. Any suggestions?
Thnks in advance.

I think that you should allow for the albums to be re-ordered based on our preferences (or better yet, in alphabetical order).

<From Darren Hardy> Yes! Something we are working on!!

First off -- thank you for all of the improvements that you are making and continue to make on our behalf!

The question I have is: I just started putting together some Albums, however, none of the pictures are in chronological order -- I have some pics of Christmas in my Album and then the next will be Easter and then back to Christmas?? Is there anyway we can get the pictures on our Albums to be in order from the time they were taken by date on....?

Thanks in advance!

From Darren Hardy:
Yes, this is a function we are working on. It will work just as you described when done. Give us a little time on it.

Everything has been resolved thanks to a very helpful Susan. Thanks Susan. Now I'm enjoying dropshots again. I do think, however, a phone number for support is helpful for users still, though.

Hi Darren

Is it possible within the settings that an option be added to elect to change the background colour of the screen? I find if it was an option I would select black as my background colour as photos on the internet seem to appear brighter and more vivid when the background colour is black.

thanks for listening

Adding the day of the week to "by date" ordering is great... Thanks! I couldn't help wondering, though, if making the little calendar page graphics into "by date" links wouldn't be more intuitive. As you're scrolling through your whole library, click on the little calendar page to go to photos from that day!

I've loved every improvement you've made since the roll out... Great work. Thanks for listening! STILL waiting for the return of my "post all thumbnails from this day" option, though! But I'm making due with text links in my blog to DropShots days or albums.

Re: albums... Sometimes the chronological ordering within the album gets mixed around for some reason... Anybody else noticing that? Like, if I make an album of photos from a single day, it should be ordered exactly the same as the "by date" view. But it's not. I'm wondering why that happens...

LOVING the big new videos, though! Thanks again!

I don't think you understand how we use captions. THe caption used to be there for all the pictures on that group to give context and so didn't have to be repeated for each. It seems this could be done by making albums for each, but that seems tedious and many more clicks both to create and to view in context.

I have some questions about the upcoming serach function. What will it look at? right now, I upload photos with just the DSC number assigned by the camera. Do I have to add identifiers to every picture for it to be searchable? For those who do this on all their photos, it will be very helpful. For me, that would be a huge amount of extra work, when I used to be able to just scan the captions.

From Darren Hardy:

When the Search function is released it will pull search results from keywords in captions and comments. This is called auto-tagging. All your photos and videos are essentially auto-tagged based on the captions and comments friends and family make.
